An OPIE module for PAM

I've written a small OPIE module for the Linux-PAM project.

Development Update

November 10, 1999

I'm hoping to bring this back to life in the next month or two, hoping to implement all the things I always wanted to do (such as documentation, integrating other things that you'll need for a fully functional OPIE setup like opie, and a patch or two to compile nicely on more platforms).

Also, in the meantime, I've tested and verified that the current version of pam_opie works with RedHat 6.0/i386. If you're having problems with it let me know, though I don't have access to many setups (such as Linux-SPARC), so I might not be able to help too much.

As you might have noticed, this has been pretty dormant for a while. These days I don't use opie much, alas, converting to kerberos and ssh which are common at MIT. Thus I have lost the necessity to keep it up to date myself, though one day I might get back to it again. If anyone else out there is working on it or interested, let me know. Thanks.

I've fixed the makefile problem and released the fixed version as version 0.21. Let me know if it works (or doesn't work) for you.

Oops! Made a rather large goof and nuked an important Makefile before creating the version 0.2 tarball, then I disappeared for a while. Sorry about that, I'll have a version which actually works up by sometime on May 26th or 27th at the latest.

April 20, 1998

Just to show that this is still alive, I've made the small updates necessary to get the module working cleanly under Redhat 5, as well as a few other changes and updates, and released it as version 0.2 on April 20, 1998. Please be careful with this. No real new features, that'll probably have to wait for another month, once I have those pesky exams out of the way.
